Welcome the newest addition of our family! Born April 16, 2010. 7lbs 6oz, 19.5 inches! Here's one picture from her official newborn shoot I did today. She's the youngest newborn I have ever shot and it was hard work but so worth it!
You'll recognize one of the families here from another shoot. The mom coordinated with me on sessions for her family as well as for her in-law's side of the family. This day was for her family. When I got up the morning of our shoot and it was cold and rainy I chuckled a little, then when we all arrived at the location, she joked that she was really great at picking days for photo shoots. The same cold drizzly weather both days! But I've know this side of the family since I was a baby and I was more than happy to brave the weather with them! Plus it was my first chance to meet the beautiful daughter of this awesome couple!
We kept the shoot as short as possible with all the babies involved and made it work! Thanks, guys for being such troopers!
I got to shoot this super cute little two-month-old today. I will be honest that I am not so good with newborns! I need much more practice. Having a baby soon? Hit me up!
You may remember this baby from when we got to see him in the hospital. Now he's a month old and already smiling! I think I love him. :)
Today my husband and I drove over to visit one of our good friends in the hospital with her new baby Corgan! I was so excited we got to go tonight instead of waiting because I'd have to wait until SATURDAY to finally see them and frankly, that's too far from today! Both mom and baby are beautiful and healthy and we're so happy to get to know a new little one!
Today I had the honor of taking pictures of my sister Ginny's family. All of her kids are in town to see my niece Julie off to her mission in Japan. We are so sad to see Julie leave but we know she will be a great missionary! Here are the highlights from our evening. I have to say they are such a great-looking family.
I promised Randi I would post these of little Lisa. You may remember her from the newborn pictures I took of her. Now she's 3-months old and so cute! I still can't believe I am this little girl's great aunt!
My niece's mom has a great house for taking pictures. Such interesting furniture and lots of light. I wish I could borrow her home more often! Lisa is adorable, we are happy she is a part of our family!
