Adorable

You may remember miss Baby Kate from this session. This is her now at 10 months. Could she be any cuter? I squeezed in a session with her great family today while John stayed home continuing the drama of a demo job in our guest bath! It's gonna be a late night fixing things up, but I wanted to post just this one from today. :) I promise to have some highlights from some of our recent sessions soon!

I ♥ Faces – Kisses

These guys are some of our favorite clients. They're young and fun and so adorable! So sad to see them move away, but I'm so glad we got to do one last shoot before they left!

I ♥ Faces – Texture

I chose this photo of a mother/daughter combo I shot while doing their family portraits in December. Can you tell who's the mom and who's the daughter? They're some of my fav people and my son's favorite people, too. Anyway, I LOVED how the trees created a really cool vortex of beautiful bokeh texture surrounding them!

The { J } Family

You'll recognize one of the families here from another shoot. The mom coordinated with me on sessions for her family as well as for her in-law's side of the family. This day was for her family. When I got up the morning of our shoot and it was cold and rainy I chuckled a little, then when we all arrived at the location, she joked that she was really great at picking days for photo shoots. The same cold drizzly weather both days! But I've know this side of the family since I was a baby and I was more than happy to brave the weather with them! Plus it was my first chance to meet the beautiful daughter of this awesome couple!

We kept the shoot as short as possible with all the babies involved and made it work! Thanks, guys for being such troopers!

I ♥ Faces – Best Face Photo

I had a tough time with this week's contest! But because of the amount of judges and how awesome they are I knew I had to enter no matter what! Rules said to post a picture you took in December or January, which made it hard since most of the sessions I did were families and not a lot of faces! So I decided to stick with one of my 3-year-old, Ben. It's obvious he was excited there was snow in Texas for Christmas!

The { H } Family

A little bit of drizzly, cold rain didn't stop us from taking pictures of this family! And these cousins were so cute and full of life, they made the weather so much more tolerable! I will have pictures from another side of this same family soon. I've known them my whole life!

Three of a Kind

I'm so sad that these guys have just made a huge move to the west coast! We've photographed them too many time so to count! They are adorable and fun and I wish them the best on their new adventure in Washington!
