Preston Turns 1!

I had a lot of fun catching up with an old friend while taking pictures of her super cute 1-year-old! He reminded me so much of Ben because he is such a big guy! He's too adorable!

Chrystal + Jonathan 7.11.09

Remember my super cool niece and her fiance? They just got home from their honeymoon last night so I thought what better way to welcome them back to the real world than to put up the full post of their wedding?

When Chrystal and Jonathan were deciding on what day to get married, it became obvious that July 11th HAD to be the date. It fit into Chrystal's requirement that it be easy for Jonathan to remember (7-11) and if anyone knows Chrystal, they know she is obsessed with Slurpees. She loves them. LOVES THEM. So 7-11-09 it was! And it was totally awesome. From her peacock inspired colors, to the sparkly pink Chucks she wore at the reception, it couldn't have been more fitting for the two of them! Congrats you guys, we love you!

Since it has been SO HOT, Chrystal smartly scheduled their sealing at the Dallas Temple for 9am. It didn't get too hot!

Before the reception started John and I took them out for more pictures, to keep them from the stress of the last minute prep AND we had to get slurpees! Slurpees then to the barn, one of our favorite spots to shoot that's less than 10 minutes from the reception site.

John took these two. The one on the right happens to be one of my favs from the whole day!

The reception was at Chrystal's parents' house. It was 101 degrees that day and we were thrilled when a nice breeze blew through for most of the night. It was still very hot, but we all survived!
